How to Save SHSH blobs for iOS 4.3- 4.3.1 using iSHSHIt

What is an SHSH blob? SHSH Blob is basically a signature file which is verified against Apple Server to verify the iDevice is running the latest version of iOS. If you want to downgrade your iOS to previous versions, Apple will not allow you to restore it because; you are trying load an older version of iOS. A specific iOS has its own specific signature file for that iOS. To downgrade to previous versions of iOS, we need to send a request to a different server (Local or Cydia Server) which sends a SHSH blob (which was saved by you) back to iTunes faking that it’s the current version.

You can save your SHSH blobs by using Tinyumbrella for PC or Mac. But there is an alternate way to save SHSH blobs directly from your iDevice. So you don’t need to download Tiny Umbrella for PC and connect the iDevice. All you need to do now is just download iSHSHIt from Cydia. This application is available absolutely free of Cost on Cydia. The best part of this unique software is that you can even send your SHSH blobs to your email address to save them locally. So in future, you can downgrade your iOS from locally saved SHSH blobs.
